In 2016 I began searching for fluoresence in underwater marine life. Using special blue lights and yellow barrier filters I took off exploring the underwater world at Derrynane on dark moonless nights. The yellow barrier filters were placed over my dive mask and over the camera lenses. From 2016 to the present I have discovered many animals and underwater flora that exhibit fluorescence. These are very special images of which I am extremely proud to have not only captured but discovered which Irish marine animals fluoresce.
